At around 11.30am on Sunday 19 March 2023, a man exited a hardware store on Sundew Rise in Joondalup through the self-checkout area. The man failed to scan numerous items in his trolley, including a pool cleaner valued at over $600, before leaving the store with the unpaid items. The man is believed to be involved in previous incidents at the store where items were not paid for.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with tattoos on both upper arms. He was wearing a black singlet, orange shorts, thongs and black cap.
