At around 7.30pm on Sunday 9 July 2023, the victim parked her car in a secure carpark at a block of units on Sydenham Street in Rivervale. At around 7.15am the next day she returned to her car to find her purse with two bank cards stolen from her car. There was no sign of forced entry, but the car was found unlocked. The stolen bank cards were used to make seven fraudulent transactions.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age with a brown buzzcut. He was wearing a white cap, black shirt under a mustard hoodie, black pants and white crocs.
