At around 8.00pm on Monday 11 September 2023, a man entered a grocery store on Westfield Road in Camillo and walked up to the refrigerated meat section. The man was seen on CCTV place two packs of Wagyu beef and leg of lamb down the front of his shirt. When confronted by a staff member who asked him to return the packs of meat, the man returned two packs but refused to give back the one pack of Wagyu beef before he left the store making no payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age, with short black hair, beard and moustache. He was wearing a high-vis jacket, dark coloured shorts, work boots, sunglasses and was carrying a black bag.
