At around 12.05pm on Thursday 20 April 2023, the victim chained his e-scooter to a metal railing on William Street in Perth. When the victim returned at around 1.55pm he found his e-scooter and the locking chain stolen.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with a shaved head and tattoos visible on his neck. He was wearing an orange t-shirt, blue three-quarter length jeans, red joggers, black face mask and carried a black backpack.
