At around 1.50pm on Saturday 24 December 2022, the victim was inside a retail store on Yirrigan Drive in Mirrabooka. The victim parked her trolley and turned around to attend to a child with her. As the victim did this, a woman is seen approach the trolley and remove the victim’s handbag from the trolley before walking away. As soon as the victim turned back to her trolley she realised her handbag was missing.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with straight long brown hair parted in the middle. She was earing a grey long sleeved shirt, green trousers with thongs and had a black shoulder bag hanging off her right shoulder.
