At around 4.00pm on Monday 26 December 2022, the victim was alerted to CCTV cameras being activated at his home on Mackie Road in Roleystone. A man was seen approach the front door, jump over a fence and walk down the side of the house. When a neighbour approached the home the man has run from the property and jumped into a small yellow vehicle nearby.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short black hair, a beard and moustache. He was wearing a light coloured t-shirt, blue jeans with thongs.
