Armadale Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information in relation to the setting of a wire trap along a bush track near Jubb Road in Jarrahdale, sometime around Tuesday, 24 June 2025.

In one incident, a 47-year-old male victim was riding his mountain bike through the area when he struck the metal wire, which was suspended around chest and neck height between two trees.

The man sustained a serious laceration and bruising to his right bicep as a result of coming into contact with the wire.

It is believed several more victims may have been affected and police are calling for them to come forward and make a report.
