Rockingham Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance, as they investigate a serious assault which occurred in Parmelia on Saturday, 12 April 2025.
Sometime between 1:00 am and 1:45am, the male victim was walking along Challenger Avenue near Sutherland Parade, in company with a male friend, when they were approached by another male unknown to them.
The victim was struck in the head with a glass bottle and kicked to the head several times upon falling to the ground.
The victim sought assistance from occupants of a nearby residence and later conveyed himself to Rockingham Hospital where he received surgery for serious facial and head injuries.
The male is described as being between 25 to 30 years of age, approximately 180cm tall, of muscular build, with straight black hair, trimmed facial hair and dark or olive complexion. He was wearing a basketball style jersey with light chino shorts, white shoes, and carrying a black bum bag around his shoulder with wireless earphones in his ears.
