You helped identify 63% of open cases

Twice a week, we publish new Open Cases on our website and Facebook page and your information helps police identify those people whose image has been caught on CCTV.

In 2023, the results were impressive. 63% of those persons of interest were identified and 42% were identified and charged.

70% of those cases relate to stealing offences, with the other main crime types being assault, burglary, damage and fraud.

Keep up the good work.
