At around 12.15pm on Sunday 20 October 2024, the victim parked her pink LIV bicycle in front of the library on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah. The victim was away from her bike for only a few minutes before returning and finding it missing. CCTV showed a man approach the victim’s bicycle on a black mountain bicycle, take the victim’s bicycle and leave his one behind. The victim’s bicycle was found abandoned on Third Avenue in Mandurah three days later.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 5 years of age with black facial hair. He was wearing a navy-blue puffer jacket over a blue t-shirt, brown pants, head scarf and was carrying a black sports bag.
