At around 4.50pm on Sunday 27 October 2024, two females walked into a jewellery store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland and told a staff member they wanted to look at gold neck chains. When one of the females tried on a gold neck chain for the fourth time, the second female stood in front of the staff member as the female wearing the gold chain suddenly ran from the store.

Police have released CCTV images of two females who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first female is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with long dark brown hair tied back into a ponytail.

The second female is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with long straight black hair.
