At around 3.00am on Sunday 18 July 2021, the victim’s friend got into an argument with a man outside a licensed premises on West Coast Drive in Hillarys. The victim intervened trying to be the peace maker and the man walked away only to return moments later with two of his friends. The man walked straight up to the victim and punched him in the face fracturing the victim’s right eye socket and cheekbone.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, medium build, between 20 to 30 years, with curly dark brown hair and a thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a dark coloured ‘Essentials’ hooded jumper with black trousers.
