At around 8.45am on Wednesday 4 January 2023, a man driving a vehicle attempted to leave a car park on Bolton Avenue in Burswood without paying. One of the two female occupants attempted to physically lift the boom gate without success. The man then drove out through the entrance boom gate after a vehicle has entered clipping the curb and crashing into the entry ticket control unit causing substantial damage.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short black hair and a moustache. He was wearing a white long sleeved t-shirt and later a red hooded jumper with black shorts and black shoes.
