At around 10:00pm on Saturday 20 November 2021, a man and woman approached two victims who were sitting in a park on Coode Street in Bayswater. The victim’s had their electric scooter with them, the man showed interest in this and asked them questions about it. The victim’s attempted to leave the area when a physical altercation took place with the man and one victim. During the altercation, the man has used a beer bottle as a weapon to hit the victim. A second bottle was used to threaten the victims.

The victim’s ran from the area and the man stole the scooter and departed the scene.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: dark skinned, medium build, between 20-25 years of age, with long brown hair tied in a bun.
