At around 11:10pm on Monday 20 December 2021, the victim was drinking with friends at a licensed premises on Queen Victoria Street in North Fremantle. The victim accidentally left her hand bag on the table whilst she went inside. A man is seen on CCTV picking up the handbag and departing the incident location with it.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 45-55 years of age with short brown hair and stubble. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
