Around 11.30am on Thursday 12 November 2020, an elderly man aged in his late 70’s was with his Wife about to enter a store on Collier Road Bayswater. A red coloured Toyota LandCruiser was reversing out of a car spot and was very close to the elderly couple. The elderly man tapped on the rear window to let the driver know they were standing there.

The vehicle stopped with the male driver getting out and he pushed the elderly man into the chest causing him to fall backwards onto the ground. As a result the elderly man received grazes on both elbows as well as bruising to the back of his head. The man drove away.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: Light skinned, around 40 years of age, medium build, around 190cm tall and receding brown hair. He was wearing a light blue top and dark blue long pants with a reflective stripr around the knees..

If you have any information about the identity of this man or details of this offence please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
