Joondalup Detectives are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred in the car park of a shopping centre along Mirrabooka Avenue, Alexander Heights on Tuesday 4 June 2019.

 

Around 4pm the victim, an 18 year old woman walked into the car park when she was approached by an unknown woman.

 

The woman demanded money and a mobile phone, threatening the victim with a needle that she pulled from her back pocket.

 

The victim handed over her bag and phone and the woman ran from the area. The victim did not receive any injuries.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
