Around 4pm on Wednesday 29 May 2019, a gold coloured vehicle stopped in the valet service at a shopping centre on Albany Highway Cannington.

 

The driver got out of the vehicle by exiting through the open window before walking inside the shopping centre. He was approached by a staff member and the man said he was looking for the concierge. The man approached the desk and spoke to another employee before walking back towards the vehicle.

 

As he was walking back, he grabbed a mobile phone from the staff member, got back in the vehicle and drove away.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: 20-25 years of age, medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, khaki coat and dark long pants.
