Around 4.10pm on Friday 18 January 2019, a woman was driving along Paxton Way Port Kennedy and was about to turn right onto Bakewell Drive when a blue utility blocked her path. A man got out of this vehicle and approached the driver’s side and attempted to open the door. The female driver was unable to move her vehicle and the man produced what was believed to be a firearm.

The woman unlocked the vehicle and the man grabbed a bag containing an amount of cash, got back into the blue utility and drove off turning left onto Bakewell Drive, right onto Warnbro Sound Avenue and out of sight.

Police have released a CCTV image of the vehicle that was believed to have been driven by the man during the incident.

The man is described as: Light skinned, thin build, around 175cm tall with dark coloured short hair. He was wearing a scarf covering the lower part of his face.
