Between 1:50am and 2:50am on Sunday 30 August 2020, a young man was seriously assaulted on Aberdeen Street in Northbridge. Around 2.50am, police on bike patrol were flagged down by the victim’s friends and located the young man who was bleeding from the face. It is believed that an object was thrown at the victim, striking him in the face.

 

Later medical examination revealed that serious facial fractures were sustained as a result of the assault.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Dark skinned, around 20 years of age, thin build, approximately 175cm tall. He was wearing a black ‘North Face’ puffer jacket and long dark pants.
