At around 12.20pm on Saturday 30 March 2024, a woman entered a grocery store on Abernethy Road in Byford and while selecting some items from the fridge started shouting abuse at a staff member observing her. The staff member walked away to the service desk area. The woman followed and suddenly threw her shopping bag at the staff member which missed and struck another staff member in the face causing bruising near her left eye.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 45 to 55 years of age with black shoulder length hair. She was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a beige handbag.
