At around 3.00pm on Sunday 31 March 2024, two women are observed on CCTV walk around a sports store on Leach Highway in Melville selecting various items of clothing and concealing the clothing items in bags they were carrying. Both women exited the store setting off the tag alarm detector making no attempt to make payment.

Police have released CCTV images of two women who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with long black hair. She was wearing a white t-shirt, black sports shorts with black and white joggers and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

The second woman is described as: light skinned, large build, between 30 to 35 years of age with blonde hair tied back into a bun. She was wearing a grey t-shirt, black shorts with beige sliders and carried a black shoulder bag.
