At around 2.00pm on Saturday 25 February 2023, the victim was standing outside a fast food store on Barrack Street in Perth waiting for her food order. A woman unknown to the victim who was standing next to the victim suddenly elbowed the victim to her chest and raised her arm with a clenched fist as if to punch the victim. A bystander intervened and the woman walked away up Barrack Street.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 20 to 25 years of age with black hair tied into a ponytail. She was wearing a black t-shirt, faded blue jeans, black boots and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
