Kiara Police are seeking assistance with an assault incident that occurred at a train station in Bassendean on Wednesday 30 January 2019.

 

Around 9:15am the victim arrived at the Bassendean Train Station via a train from Perth. He walked towards a bus stop and waited for a short period of time.

 

During this time, he was approached by a man and a physical altercation ensued, resulting in the victim being struck multiple times. The man then left the area on a bus heading towards Morley.

 

The man received minor injuries as a result of the incident.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as dark skinned, aged in his mid-20s with a black mullet style haircut and a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes and a small bag.
