At around 4:45pm on Thursday 31 December 2020 three men walked into a liquor store on Beach Road in Duncraig.

The men were refused service due to their intoxication.

One of the men became aggressive and pushed a security guard who was removing him from the store. The man continued to push the security guard as his friend stood in between him and the security guard in an attempt to subdue his friend. The man pushed his friend to the side and punched the security guard multiple times in the head. The security guard fell to the ground and momentarily lost consciousness.

The three men then left the store.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, solid build, with a black beard and a missing front tooth. He wore a black “Lakers” hat, white shirt and blue backpack.
