At around 5:30pm on Thursday 31 December 2020 a man entered a property on Beckenham Street in Beckenham.

 

The man gained access to the backyard of the property and entered the house. An occupant of the house was home and heard the back door open. The occupant went to investigate and discovered the man in the back room of the house wth a bandana over his face.

 

The man left and was later sighted at the Beckenham Train Station.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: light skinned, approximately 30-35 years old, muscular buid, around 178cm tall, with light brown short hair. He wore a black singlet, grey shorts, black shoes and carried a black bag. He had tattoos on his arms and legs.
