Perth Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a nightclub along Beaufort Street, Perth on Saturday 6 April 2019.

 

Around 12:50am two men became involved in a verbal altercation when a staff member stepped in to separate the men.

 

While the staff member was speaking to the 22-year-old male victim, an unknown man punched the victim in the face. This caused the victim to fall to the floor, hitting his head and the man ran from the area.

 

The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious face and head injuries.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as olive skinned with a muscular build, short black hair and approximately 178cm tall. He was seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
