UPDATE: A 45 year old man from Perth has been charged with Common Assault. We had many reports come through in relation to this case. Thank you!!

Kensington Police are seeking information regarding an assault incident that occurred on a footpath outside a shopping centre in East Victoria Park on Monday 15 October 2018.

Around 10.15am a 30-year-old woman was standing outside the shopping centre to take a call on her mobile phone.

A man has approached her from behind her and struck her multiple times in quick succession before he walked away into the shopping centre.

The victim did not know the man. She suffered minor injuries.

The man is described as 40 – 50 years of age, large solid build, He was clean shaven with blonde curly hair. He was wearing a yellow long sleeved shirt, faded blue denim shorts and rubber shoes – similar to crocs.
