At around 2:45pm on Sunday 30 July 2023, a woman entered a store on Great Eastern Highway in Midland and removed a Guess handbag and wallet. The woman attempted to leave the store with the handbag and wallet however the store employee stopped her. The woman then began to verbally abuse the employee before slapping her in the face.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 18 to 25 years of age with dark brown hair. She was wearing a red Tommy Hilfiger jumper, black ripped jeans, Adidas slides with black socks and a brown cross body bag.
