At around 5.50pm on Thursday 20 July 2023, a man entered a pharmacy on Bayley Street in Dianella and handed in a script for medication in the name of a male person with a date of birth age of 79 years. Staff were immediately suspicious because the man requesting the medication appeared much younger. The doctor who issued the script was called and confirmed the script to be fraudulent. The script was retained and cancelled.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, medium build, between 35 to 40 years of age with dark hair combed back and a rat tail. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue pants with black runners.
