Around 1pm on Wednesday 18 December 2019, two women and a man entered a supermarket on High Road Riverton pushing a trolley. As they proceeded through the store, items were taken from the shelves and placed in the trolley. They then went to a self-service counter and the male began to make a scene by yelling and carrying on. The women pushed the trolley out of the store but were then stopped by staff. The man took off his sandal and used it to hit a staff member on the arm. All three left the area emptyhanded and the trolled was returned to the store.

Police have released a CCTV image of two women and a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
