At around 5:00am on Saturday 20 November 2021, the victim was walking alone on James Street in Northbridge after attending licensed premises with friends earlier in the night. The victim saw a male and female engaged in an altercation in Russel Square, Northbridge and went to intervene. The male has punched the victim to the back of the head, knocking the victim unconscious. Whilst unconscious the victim has had his phone and wallet stolen.

The victim was treated at hospital for a wound to his head requiring stitches.

Police have released CCTV images of a male and female who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The male is described as: tanned skin, slim build, between 18-25 years of age with short brown hair. He was wearing a white shirt, black pants and sneakers.

The female is described as: light skinned, between 16-20 years of age with long dark blonde hair. She was wearing black jeans, a green crop top and black vanz sneakers.
