At about 8.00pm on Sunday 22 March 2020 a man was walking toward a train station on Kensington Street in East Perth.


Approaching a pedestrian crossing he noticed another male and a female waiting to cross.


As he got closer to couple the male has turned around and swung his fist, hitting the man in the face before crossing the road with the female.


Police have released a CCTV image of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The man is described as: tanned skin, solid build, with a plaited rats tail, wearing a striped navy and white t-shirt and a black hat with motif on the front.


The female is described as: tanned skin, medium build with dark hair, wearing a black zip-up jumper and white shorts.
