Sunday 11 December 2022, the victim taxi driver picked up a man in Northbridge who requested to be taken to an address on Oligantha Elbow in Banksia Grove. On arrival the man refused to pay the fare and exited the taxi. The victim exited the taxi and asked the man to pay the fare or he would call police. The man walked up to the victim saying he wasn’t going to pay and punched the victim to his chest before running off.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, between 35 to 45 years of age with short fair hair and a beard. He was wearing a multi coloured button up shirt, shorts and enclosed shoes.
