At around 11.10am on Saturday 16 October 2021, when a staff member stationed at the exit of a retail store on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah asked a woman exiting if she could check her bag, a man with the woman became agitated and started verbally abusing the staff member calling her a racist. Another staff member walked over and was pushed and then shoved to the neck by the man before both left the store.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, with short hair, beard and moustache. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper, beige shorts with thongs.
