At around 7.10pm on Wednesday 6 October 2021, the victim while shopping in a supermarket on Peelwood Parade in Halls Head, placed his wallet on a shelf to attend to a bottle of milk leaking in his trolley. When he had finished he turned to retrieve his wallet and found it had been taken off the shelf. Within an hour a debit card from the victim’s wallet was used to make five fraudulent purchases at two different service stations in Halls Head.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, large build with a moustache and goatee. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a red baseball cap.
