At around 11.00pm on Friday 26 April 2024, the victim while in the toilets inside a bar on Queen Street in Perth was approached an angry man who appeared to want to fight. The victim had never seen the man before and exited the toilets to join his friends. A short time later the same man approached the victim and without any provocation punched the victim to the side of his face knocking him to the ground. The victim was treated at hospital for a broken jaw.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age, fair hair. He was wearing a tan coloured t-shirt, black shorts with white sneakers.
