At around 2.00pm on Wednesday 1 May 2024, a woman entered a supermarket store on Murray Street in Perth, taking two shopping baskets on the way in. The woman placed numerous items into the two baskets and a few items into her backpack before heading to the checkout to make payment. She paid for a few items using a gift card and left the remaining items in the baskets behind before exiting, making no payment for the items concealed in her backpack.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with long black hair. She was wearing an orange dress, blue sneakers, white hat and was carrying a black backpack and black suitcase on wheels.
