A passenger on the bus has interrupted the argument, telling the woman to leave the bus and stop abusing the driver.

The woman then approached the passenger hitting him to the side of his head and, during the ensuing altercation, biting him on his wrist.

Police have released an image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skin, slim build with long dark hair and a tattoo on her right forearm, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and a black cap.
