Wembley police are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate an assault that occurred in Subiaco on Monday, 24 November 2025.

Around 12.50pm, a deaf female juvenile was sitting on a bench on Subiaco Square Road when a man approached and sat beside her.

Unaware she couldn’t hear him without her Cochlear implant, he continued talking before putting his arm around her and placing a hand behind her neck.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the male, or their current whereabouts, is asked to make a report to Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.

People reporting information to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous if they wish.
