Wembley police are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate a stealing that occurred in Claremont on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.

Around 4.45pm, the victim placed her schoolbag down inside a shopping centre on Bay View Terrace.

While browsing, she realised she’d walked off without it, but when she returned, the bag was gone.

CCTV later showed a man picking it up and leaving the centre. He took a laptop from inside before discarding the bag.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the male, or their current whereabouts, is asked to make a report to Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
