At around 10.30pm on Friday 2 August 2024, the victim entered a petrol station on Thundelarra Drive in Golden Bay and grabbed a bottle of milk. A man informed the victim that the bottle was leaking. The victim grabbed a new bottle and approached the counter to pay. The man suddenly approached the victim and punched him in the face.
Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build with short dark hair. The man was wearing a black hoodie and black track pants.
