At around 5.45pm on Tuesday 6 August 2024, a man entered a store on Murray Street in Perth. The man approached an e-scooter display and tried to pull an e-scooter from the rack. The man walked around the store before approaching the e-scooters again. This time he pulled out a pair of wire cutters and cut the lock. The man grabbed the e-scooter and left the store.
Police have released CCTV images of the man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: dark skinned, medium build with short dark hair. The man was wearing a blue jumper, black pants, crocs, headphones and a backpack.
