At around 3.00am on Sunday 4 June 2023, the victim and her partner were on William Street in Perth waiting for an Uber when a man approached, shouting and verbally abusing them. Their Uber ride arrived and as the victim was getting into the Uber, the man kicked out at both the victim and her partner, striking the victim’s left arm causing immediate pain. X-rays revealed the victim’s arm was broken.   

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, large build, between 35 to 45 years of age with short black hair, black beard and moustache. He was wearing a black ‘Tommy Hilfiger’ t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners, black cap and was carrying a black jacket.
