Mirrabooka Detectives are investigating two attempted armed robberies which occurred in Nollamara on Wednesday 1 May 2019 within 15 minutes of each other.
In the first incident, around 12.45pm, an Australia Post worker delivering mail on a motorcycle in Monterey Court, Nollamara was approached by a male on a bicycle armed with a machete. The male attempted to steal the victim’s motorcycle, however was unsuccessful.
A short time later, around 1pm, investigators believe the same male on a bicycle, approached two victims, whilst they were parked on Myimbar Way in Nollamara. The male made threats towards them, showing them the machete before riding off when told Police had been called.
Police have released two composite images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
