At around 5.20am on Sunday 12 March 2023, a man in company with a woman are seen on CCTV walk into the basement car park of a hotel on Canning Highway in South Perth. The man forced open the rear canopy window of a parked Ute to enter the vehicle tray, damaging the window and lock. The man rummaged through the rear tray of the Ute, however the victim doesn’t believe any items were stolen.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 45 to 55 years of age, short hair with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black shoes, gloves on each hand, a red cap and brown shoulder satchel.
