At around 10.15am on Wednesday 27 July 2022, a man who hadn’t made any purchases exited a clothing store on Murray Street in Perth activating the alarm. After a staff member had checked his bag and found no clothing items from the store, the man produced a device with two prongs that looked like a taser and pointed it at the staff member in a threatening manner before walking off.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, dark brown mullet hair style with a thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a black jumper, black pants with high-vis green footwear.
