At around 3:45am on Friday 4 December 2020 a man forced entry to a house on Daly Street in Belmont.
The man entered through the front door, waking the resident who was asleep on the couch. The man assaulted the resident and demanded money. The man stole cash and electronics before leaving the scene.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, over 6ft tall, large muscular build, with olive skin, short dark hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He wore dark jeans and a white shirt.
