Between 0.15am and 2.30am on Friday 6 January 2023, an unknown offender used a portable power tool to cut through a wall at the rear of a service station store on Great Eastern Highway in Bellevue to gain entry. Once inside the offender removed numerous cartons of tobacco products from a cabinet before exiting back out through the wall.
At around 3.00am on Monday 9 January 2023, the alarm was activated at the same service station store. Another hole was found to have been cut through the rear wall into a cabinet filled with packets of cigarettes removed by the offender.
Police have released CCTV of a person believed to be the offender.
