Scarborough Police are seeking assistance with a burglary incident that occurred at a residential address along moorland Street, Scarborough on Sunday 7 October 2018.

Around 12:20pm a man forced entry to a home, rummaged through several rooms as well as the garage. It is believed approximately $16,000 worth of items was taken.

The man was seen running from the area and entering a white Holden Commodore Sedan before driving away.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

He is described as dark skinned, approximately 20 years old with a medium build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, with black latex gloves and carrying a white plastic bag.
